Zero feedback.

Sunday 7 May, i received a notification for a transaction ref Poppixie Empire Lagos, R2232.59 twice. A total of R4465.18.

I reported the transaction immediately as it was obviously a suspicious transaction as I was at work, in Paarl, western cape, south africa and somehow someone was able to use my virtual credit card in Lagos Nigeria.

I was given a case no by a very friendly lady on the *****/**** FNB line. She told me it's been recorded on her side and that the matter should be resolved within 40 days. Below is my case no;

FNB: Dispute ref: SECM *** acknowledged. For enquires please call ***.

I have since contacted FNB, after holding the line for 30min I've given up and searched for an alternative way to get through to the credit card ***** department to get some sort of update. I then discovered that you can get in contact with a FNB representative through my banking app, and very conveniently i was assisted.

Please be advised we have escalated the ***** query for further assistance. Feedback will be provided within 24-48 working hours.

Obviously by writing this, i did not receive any feedback at all and actually have not spoken to anyone since i recorded the case 7 may.

Monday morning 5 June i went back on my app to try and see if i can reach out to FNB even though they are supposed to be contacting me.

thank you for your patience i do appreciate it, please be advised that the ***** case *** has been escalated , feedback will be provided to you as soon as the case is resolved i do apologize for the inconvenience caused.

I'm yet to have recieved any feedback. I've very clearly been ****med out of my money. I'm a very loyal FNB client and spend lots of money with this bank. Really not impressed with this matter and not sure how i feel about this situation.

I guess I'll wait till someone contacts me while I'm looking for another bank to do business with.

Regards, Dale
