Your customer service is horrible!

Dear FNB,

I am writing this here, on hellopeter.com, as I can't seem to get through to consultant who is willing or able to assist me.

I have to admit I am fairly disgusted with you at the moment.

I was recently contacted with an offer to upgrade my cheque and credit cards from Gold to Premier and I accepted the offer. You asked whether my new cards must be delivered or wheter I will collect at a brand and I opted for delivery. I received my credit card - thank you very much - but to date I am still waiting for my cheque card. I've followed up three times. The first and second time I was advised that the courier will contact me shortly. The third time I was advised to go and collect my card at the Durbanville branch (which is not even the branch I frequent should I need to go into the bank). I tried following up today again and after spending about 30 minutes on hold I was advised the system is offline and I will be contacted back. I am still waiting for that call back.

Now, I am NOT going into a branch to collect a card. I am 37 weeks pregnant and my idea of fun is not going to a bank at the moment. While we are on the subject, let me tell you how FNB Cape Gate treats pregnant customers - to get my UIF form stamped I waited in line for 45 minutes before asking whoever was on floor duty whether they can assist me please seeing as all I need is my bank details confirmed. The gentlemen politely informed me I have to wait in line like everyone else. Fortunately a women came along a few minutes later and asked if I was okay. She offered me a drink of water and my form was stamped (yeah, that's all I needed) within 5 minutes max.

Now, can you see why I am really disgusted with the level of service I've been receiving lately? This after upgrading my cards with the promise of 'premier banking'.

Come on guys, you are better than this. Unfortunately, in the service industry you are only as good as your last customer interaction which in my case is a poor one and I'm walking around telling everyone exactly how you have been treating me as a customer. I don't expect special treatment - just what I pay for and what you commit to doing. so step up, please.
