You can help me... by sorting out my request outstanding since early April!

There's an ongoing case where I requested that my account be closed early in April, and I submitted the relevant supporting documents as requested. Well, since then I've had no positive outcome/experience in this matter and have subsequently been charged another month's banking fees, pushing my account into debit. The latest response to the back-and-forth email is worrying to say the least as now I'm being asked to pay the debit balance. I won't do this out of principle as the monthly fees wouldn't have been deducted if the account was closed in April as requested. Please can this urgently be sorted out as the monthly fees for June will be due one of these days and I don't have confidence in FNB to sort this out soon! Please prove me wrong and change this experience from a negative to a positive! Apart from the reference given, there are also various case numbers issued: 302296 (Dalene Rabie), ********** (Cherelle Smith), ********** Q, and the bank acc no to be closed is ********** 0165. Cherelle Smith's email dated 9 May refers: "...balance of R173.36, made up of fees and interest that we are in the process of reversing in order to close the account." Kudos to ABSA's Action Line who already reversed the R100 unpaid fee due to an unpaid debit order they incorrectly deducted. This makes the debit balance of R73.36 FNB's to reverse, close the account and issue me with the long-awaited paid-up letter!

Thank you! This issue was finally sorted out yesterday. I also received a call from Busi in the CEO's office.
