My credit card account was handed over, I owed R10000. I have thus far paid about R14000+ with about R2600 outstanding which means I by the end of my paying this it would be in the region of about R17000+. I have been paying this account for almost 10 YEARS, yes, 10 YEARS. One cannot be paying R10000 for 10 years, it is clear the bottom line of this institution is nothing but getting interest and making money out of people. All have been in contact with their collections agent but I got no joy. I have a cheque account with this institution and I am definitely going to move to another bank where they actually care about their client, where their clients take priority rather than making money.
