WRONG PACE ON FIT BIT VERSA SE

I have a FIT BIT device that i bought through FNB devices however this device records the incorrect pace. I have only had this device for a month but the pace gets higher for each run. I WANT TO RETURN IT, IT IT USELESS FOR MY RUNNING AS IT IS DRAWING ME BACK.
