wrong debit orders and consultants behaviour

For the past 6 weeks or so, there has been one debit order or another going off my FNB cheque account without my authorization and FNB allows it. FNB does not allow individuals to reverse any amount of more than R200, because their reason is that they get into trouble with other banks when clients reverse their bonds etc, which i find odd, and quite fishy. Anyway, i realised that when i went into the branch to reverse these money, FNB charges me R5. Really? To me, this is money-making business for FNB. The reason i was given was that i should inform these companies debiting my account to stop. Does FNB get it that these companies do not even know me, i do not know them? Some of the references i got are "wise guys", "Pieter Buys" and "Gr Life Gr Lifes". What companies are these? How can i go to the companies i do not even know exist and ask them to stop debiting my account? I had to call FNB (Wednesday 30 Aug, 2017) to ask for the details of the so-called company who debited my account. Afterwards, i called the company named "(ABSA)Softcomp" on ********** , i was told they only assist other companies in debiting accounts. Then, I was given the number of the company they were assisting ( ********** ), just for the lady to say it was a mistake. Like really? Yet, according to FNB, i am supposed to call the company and ask them to stop debiting my account, how? FNB only sends SMSs after debit orders have gone through saying, they have noticed a new debit order going off in my account, if I did not authorise this….bla bla bla. Why send SMS after debit orders have gone through and not before? Definitely, it is not like the companies who debit my account did not make FNB aware beforehand.

To make matters worse, i called FNB (Wednesday 30 Aug, 2017) and a consultant dropped the phone on me after I explained the whole situation to him, unfortunately, I did not get his name. How can a consultant hang up on a client? I had told him that the least he could do was to say he would inform the manager or whoever is in charge and they will see to it, or come up with a better solution. Instead, he sounded like a broken record, saying the same thing over and over that I have to be the one to cancel with the companies that debit my account. Not 1, not 2 different companies at different times, how am I supposed to find these companies? How can FNB allow debit orders going off my account without my permission? This raises eyebrows that FNB is in it with these shady companies, while charging me unnecessarily in the process, not to talk of the wasted time going into the branches to reverse or call FNB on the phone, while I am put on hold for a long time….that is money (wasting my time)! I called FNB back after the other consultant dropped the phone on me and spoke to another consultant. I told her that I was not asking for help, but to inform her that due to FNB’s attitude, allowing debit orders willy-nilly off my account, I will close my account and report FNB on Hello Peter. Then she started shouting asking me to listen to her so she could help, but I told her that I don’t need help, and I dropped the phone.
