Wrong Billing

Good day

Today I have spoken to a lady (Kayla) with regards to an account enquiry I have had. There seems to be a massive problem with FNB Connect's accounting.

My query is as follows:

I have two sim cards. one ending 7317 which is for Phoning and ending 1782 which is for Data. I have a duel sim phone Huawei P8 Lite. My phone is set up for making calls from number ending 7317 and Data on number ending 1782.

According to my Itemised Bill, these guys are saying that I have been using data off the number ending 7317 but purchasing data for number ending 1782. The account statement on internet banking is not working so I am unable to view current information it. The information on it is different to information you have on itemised billing.

Kayla has told me that the fault lies with my phone and that my settings are incorrect. I then phoned smart device another devision of FNB on 087 ********** as per her suggestion. I spoke to a gentlemen there who guided me through the settings menu. He concurred that the settings on my phone is correct and he insisted that the problem is an accounting problem. He refused to email me the phone recording but promised to send me a mail with our conversation it. He has not done that yet, but I’m sure since their calls are recorded that they can obtain a copy of this. He said he had no reference for me but that I should use my ID number as reference. He obviously **** to me.

No one is accepting responsibility of this bill and I cannot pay it since the fault is not mine. It’s not my fault if Their accounting is faulty. It’s not my fault that the phone they gave me is faulty. It’s not my fault that I was unable to get a hold of anyone at their call centre side when I bought the phone and its not my fault that the service on the internet banking website is not accurate. I bought data each time my data ran low. I did not go over my data usage, I topped up every time my data ran low. I have previously complained about not being able to get a hold of anyone at the call centre. I lady then phone back in 48 hours and she assured me that I was not over my data bundle and therefore would not be charged out of bundle rates. Reference for this specific call was (BOYS72WE). She obviously **** to me…

How did I go over my data if I was buying data bundles? How did my data bundles get used up if I was using the wrong sim number for my data? This does not make sense… I also received 50mb data for an error that FNB has caused and part of their apology was giving all their clients 50mb free. On the itemised bill it shows that they charged me for it. It is very clear that there is a problem with this bill, yet they want to blame me for not watching my data usage.

Who is going to pay for this bill? I don’t have the money for this? Its FNB’s fault and someone has to fix it.

I will have to go to court over this. I will also go to the media and I’m am now closing all my accounts. I will not pay one cent until my bill is corrected. Someone has to realise at FNB that I am not wrong and that that is a problem on FNB’s side that needs to be corrected.
