Wow FNB this is bad
As a loyal customer of FNB i have never been so upset and Disappointed in my bank as of recently.
Where do i start, as like many south african citizens i do understand the current struggle of the effect of COVID19 and we turn to our banks for assistance in this time of need where we have to take care of our families and people around us. In the beginning of the lockdown i have app**** for the covid 19 relief fund.
I receieved a mail where it said somebody will be in contact withing 5 days, that someone never reached me, so then i started contacting FNB trying to find out whats happening with my application and why am i not being contacted, no one could give me an answer and then i get email adresses that i have to sent mails to which has automatic repsonses and said there will not be rep**** on my email, ufortunately this led me to do the application again where it stated i have been approved and gave me all the fine details atc
I went through this and noted that my first payment was due for July and then automatically checked the amount, as of today 27/05/2020 i have monitored my situation spoke to agents and everyone has a different story so i decided to go investigate myself and what the hell is going on with my account?
The first thing i noticed is that my payment date for the covid 19 release has changed to the 7th of june 2020, after that i also noticed the coversation where i spoke to an agent and saw there was two debit orders from my account fnb was supposed to cover, that did not happen.
Then last week i received an UIF payment from our company which was not even 1 third of my salary, then BOOM another debit order to my Revolving loan account which last month was paid from the relief fund. So after checking all my account i have noticed that FNB has not even paid half of my loans which i was quoted for at the end of april. Now with that said i have been tyring to reverse a debit order for the past three days which is supposed to be covered by the covid19 relief fund, unfortunately i have had no success and had no choice but to come to HP and complain, i have spoken to 3 agents, everytime i received the same answer, unfortunately we are not able to reverse any debit orders, please contact your service provider or try and reverse it from the FNB app.
Now please explain to me the following because as an IT engineer im probably not competent enough to understand how mobile apps work but how the **** do i reverse an debit order from my service provider if my service provider is the same oaks giving the same bull**** answer over and over??? Please note that you stipulate that all mistaken debit orders that is supposed to be covered by covid 19 relief will be reversed and corrected within 24 hours working days, guess what we are now going for 72 on the one and how about almost 21 days on the other.
Now as we all know you most probably expect a payment from me, please focus closely on the next MESSAGE. FOUR OF MY LOANS YOU DID NOT PAY AND EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE TWO SMALL AND TWO LARGE AMOUNTS I STILL BELIEVE THAT WAS NOT PART OF THE CONTRACT, YOU GAVE ME AND X AMOUNT SUM WHICH WAS SUPPOSED TO COVER MY EXPENSES BUT DID NOT FOR THE MONTH OF APRIL.
Now end may comes and its most probably gonna be the same BS over, but you are fast to get an automated machine to give me a call and threaten me with legal action. The sad part of this is i have been a premier customer for a while, i have been a loyal customer for over ten years and this is the current service i am getting, in the past i have never missed any payments or never fell behind on anything, i have always made sure there has been money to pay YOU and your loans etc and i have never been so disappointed in my life with a service provider as i am now
Please get back to me as soon as possible
