Worst customer service from a bank
When you need customer service, this bank will have you speak to a machine that'll send you a message with a link to follow, you follow the link and do as prompted only to have your query not resolved. The worse part is that you can't call again because you're going to have to deal with the same machine that proved useless to your query and you're left with an unresolved query because FNB has made you to deal with their machine while you are stuck with your unresolved problem.

03 Mar 2021, 11:48Never have I been this disappointed in a bank I've been a client of for 26 years as I am right now.
I logged a debit dispute with FNB over a company that seems to be doing as it pleases on my account 5 days ago and FNB has done absolutely nothing but give me a courtesy call and send me an email stating that the matter will be resolved in 24-48 hours but yet nothing has been done.
You only respond to complaints posted on hellopeter.com for PR purposes and still do nothing for your clients.
Last week I had the same issue, your agent called me and the matter was resolved in under 5 minutes (even though I was charged R40). The same company then came back to incorrectly debit me again, even though I've sent them an email and called them 3 times to cancel our services during the months of February but they seem to be reluctant and I even instructed FNB to stop the order but you let it go through and now I must run around writing endless posts on hellopeter.com just to get help, since we can't even call in to get customer assistance because then we have to deal with a machine that sends us to a link on the app of which is useless because it'll then say that we must contact customer care, the same machine that sent us that useless link.
FNB has become distant to its customers and even though I've loved and trusted it for 26 years, but this is it for me, it is time to start looking for a better bank that'll take its customers concerns more seriously.
