Worst customer service
On Monday 29th Jan - i called FNB to tell them I would like to cancel my CR Card and have my funds that are on my account transferred to my Cheque account. A request was logged and I was told that someone will call me in 3-5working days. Monday still no call from them - I call FNB - the guy i spoke to said that he will escalate and get someone to call me back. Monday ended - no call from FNB. Tuesday around 15:30 I call FNB - same story - they will escalate and get someone to call me before end of day. I was on hold for close to an hour on their CR card number. What is frustrating is that FNB is not making any effort of calling me back. If I was looking for credit - I dont know how many times i would have been called. They insist on wanting me to speak to a Re*****ions department - I know i do not want to to retained. I do not want the Credit card anymore. This morning I made another call to - spoke to a lady - guess what - I now have to wait 3-5 working days again for my money to be transferred to my Cheque account. Why?? Why must I wait for up to 5 working days for my own money? I know i wont get it in 3 working days. FNB could not call me in 3-5working days. At this rate - I am going to close all my FNB accounts. I have been with the bank for 17 years and had cheque, bond, and cr card with the bank. But a simple thing like closing of an account cannot be such torture. I need my money.
