WORST BANK FNB

Nico Breytenbach Branch manager of FNB Barberton gave the worst possible client service expected. Not even wearing a face mask in this trying times he is the most arrogant rude person dealing with clients.My salary was R4000 p/m and FNB gave me the most expensive account which I did not even qualify for with a monthly fee of R100 p/m. Went to the Branch today to close the account because due to covid I have lost my job. I was told that they can not freeze or close my account because my account is in a minus, but they wil keep on deducting monthly fees until I can close this account or pay the minus amount, but I do not have a salary. Told them I will pay the minus but can they just stop the monthly fees. This is unacceptable and you would expect better service from a Branch Manager. Did not even give me an option to get a cheaper account, or try to assist me with anything. Was just told it is not their problem, and we should try and borrow the money to get the account closed. Secure chat was also of no assistance. I will never open an account with FNB again and I will advice everyone to stay away from this bank.
