WORST BANK EVER FNB
Since the start of the lockdown and the so called relieve that FNB are willing to provide, i have been struggling to get assistance with them. I came to realize that the relieve they are supplying, or not supplying is as a matter of fact a loan. So i decided to see what it entails, they want to give you a loan that will cover your current accounts, it came to be that the wanted to charge me R900 a month more than needed on my one account. Immediately after the realization of the fact, i spoken to a service provider, she confirmed that, that my installment on that certain account is being overcharged. Looking at it, i decided not to proceed because i dont want to be in another binding contract of 36 months with FNB. And at the end of the day during this trying times who can just afford to take another loan, since no one is guaranteed of a job at the end of this. I am negatively impacted due to COVID 19 and my salary has been cut. I decided to move from banks, i opened an acc with another bank. By this time my accounts at FNB was all paid up, now just waiting on paid up letters and closing of the accounts, by the way this was all happening on the 2 June 2020. To date 27 June 2020 no progress have been made, we were given settlement's from FNB that we paid, turns out that we paid more than needed, so now i needed to be re funded then and only then the accounts can be closed. Refund was done and now according to my acc i owe them money again, i disputed this and was then told the acc will be cleared and will receive statement of zero ballance. What a joke, i have spoken to a agent this morning just to confirm that nothing has changed, and the ballance is still showing! And for that reason i cant carry on with my credit application at the new bank, which i have been trying to finalize since the 2nd June.
