Worst bank ever
It doesnt look like i will ever be lucky with the client experience and service with this bank. On the 01 March 2024 i visited Vincent park branch in East London to open a personal account that was to be linked to my late sister's Estate account that i recently opened with them. After waited on the queue for a full 1 hour 20 minutes i was told that they cannot assist me due to different surnames on their system they have my marriage surname and i am divorced i change the ID and i had a decree of divorce with me as proof that surnames are changed, the lady that was sitting on cubicle 2 went and ask her manager who also couldnt assist ,i was told that i need to go to Home Affairs and do a fingerprint verification, the lady didnt even try to want to assist, i asked to de-enrol and enrol me so that Hanis can pick up the latest ID she said their system are taking what is with Home Affairs im asking if so why do i have a recent ID with my ****en surname if thats the case. I wish there was a way i could open this account so i can access the Late Estate and get done with this bank. I couldnt believe that's how they treat a client due to their marital status changed, are divorcees not allowed to bank here??? How am i expected to use that surname just because a consultant is lazy to change it on their system.
