Worried

Good day, please assist, I made an EFT on the 16th of August,the amount was R7 083 only to find out that the money was deposited into a wrong account, I then went to the bank on Wednesday where I was told that I should wait for 48 hours, to investigate,however 48 hours is due and nothing is happening, and the person who helped me said normally the bank doesn't get involved if a person made a mistake, and the worst part is that, the account number doesn't belong to anyone, so why can't I have my money back, or maybe I should involve my lawyers so they can assist with this matter, the money is needed asap, it is meant for traveling and we have already bought flights tickets.
