Withheld Funds From 2020

Title: FNB Has Delayed My Funds Since 2020 — No Accountability

FNB closed my business account in 2020. They confirmed that I would receive my remaining funds , I have never been paid. I’ve logged many complaints, including reference numbers like ***NF, and every time FNB promises to resolve it in 3–5 business days — but nothing happens.

I’ve been bounced between departments, told confusing stories about a “***** case,” and asked to provide SAPS clearance, even though the money is rightfully mine.

I’ve now reported the matter to:

NFOSA (National Financial Ombud)

OBSSA (Banking Ombudsman)

SAHRC (Human Rights Commission)

OUTA

Legal Aid South Africa

Still, FNB remains quiet while I suffer emotionally and financially. I feel ignored, disrespected, and drained. I'm not a ******** — I'm a citizen who trusted this bank with my life savings.

I've given FNB until 26 June 2025 to release my funds. If not, I will continue escalating this legally and publicly.

Subject: FNB: 4 Years of Silence, Promises, and pain

I have been trying to get my funds released from my closed FNB business account since 2020. After countless emails, calls, reference numbers, and promises of feedback within "3 to 5 business days" — I am still waiting. FNB has failed to resolve this matter, despite written instructions, acknowledgments, and clear records of communication. The stress and emotional damage this delay has caused me is unbearable. I’ve approached the National Financial Ombud (NFOSA), the SA Human Rights Commission (SAHRC), Legal Aid, and even the media — yet FNB still plays games with my life and my time. I am not asking for favors. I am asking for my rights to be respected and for the truth behind this delay to finally come out. FNB must account for this delay and release my funds immediately.

Review: FNB, you are breaking me. Since 2020, I have been pleading for the release of my own funds from my closed business account — and for four long years, all I’ve received are recycled reference numbers, empty promises, and silence. I’ve followed every instruction, submitted every document, and waited through every “3 to 5 business day” response window — again and again. But still, nothing. I’ve escalated this case to the National Financial Ombud (NFOSA), the South African Human Rights Commission (SAHRC), Legal Aid SA, OBSSA, and even journalists. I’ve begged for help while struggling with hunger, mental exhaustion, and emotional collapse. Still, FNB stays quiet. I am not a ********. I am not invisible. I am a human being. You have turned my life upside down. You have failed in your duty of care. And you have ignored my basic right to my own money — for years. FNB — this must end. I demand the immediate release of my funds and a full explanation of why you have delayed this case for so long. Stop hiding behind systems, silence, and case numbers. My life is not a queue number.

Title: FNB – Make your reply public! Stop hiding behind private excuses

Review:
I’m demanding that FNB responds to this review publicly – no more private replies, emails, or excuses that lead nowhere. You’ve dragged this case for too long with silence, recycled promises, and blame-shifting. Now the public deserves to see exactly how you treat long-standing customers with unresolved issues. If you truly have nothing to hide, reply HERE, not in my inbox. Enough is enough.

HelloPeter Follow-Up

I'm extremely disappointed with FNB's continued copy-and-paste responses. This is now the third or fourth time I'm given the same template: “your matter is referred to the relevant department, and feedback will follow.”I am not a fool. You are recycling reference numbers — first ***Q, then ***NF, now ***NF — and yet NOTHING gets resolved.I have been patient since 2020. I’ve submitted everything you’ve asked. I’ve escalated the matter through every possible platform — Ombuds, media, human rights — and FNB still chooses to delay, avoid accountability, and insult me with generic replies.I specifically asked that your response be public and transparent, but instead, you hide behind the same private script.I want South Africa to see how FNB treats customers when it’s time to pay what is owed.Your 5-day promises have meant NOTHING — and this latest one will be treated as yet another false promise if you fail to resolve this before end of day, 28 June 2025.

Title: FNB Holding My Business Funds Since 2020 — 5 Years of Silence, Excuses & Pain Review: My name is Senzo Xulu and I have been fighting since 2020 for FNB to release funds from a closed business account. It’s been nearly 5 years, and I have exhausted all internal channels at FNB with no meaningful resolution — only recycled reference numbers, empty promises, and redirecting tactics. The account was closed after *****ulent activity, but I was never the perpetrator. FNB requested a new working bank account in my name to release the funds — I submitted it. They confirmed my details. But nothing followed. No explanation. No refund. I’ve escalated the issue to the National Financial Ombud Scheme (NFOSA) and also reached out to legal platforms and the media due to the emotional exhaustion caused by this delay. Still, FNB remains silent. I am no longer waiting. I am taking this fight public. NFOSA Ref: ***

FNB Holding My Closed Business Account Funds Despite 5 References!

I’ve been chasing FNB for weeks to release money from my closed business account. Instead, I keep getting recycled reference numbers with no final action:

• ***3HR – Ignored
• ***Q – No feedback
• ***Q – No resolution
• ***Q – Referred to “***** Dept”
• ***Q – More empty promises

Even NFOSA (case #***) has gone silent. I’ve now issued a legal deadline of 5 August 2025.

This delay has caused serious emotional and financial harm. If this is not resolved, I will escalate this publicly and legally.

I, Senzo Xulu, am publicly exposing the ongoing delay and neglect by FNB and the National Financial Ombud Scheme (NFOSA) regarding the unresolved funds from my closed business account.

Despite submitting all documents, following all instructions, and receiving case reference numbers — I have been met with silence, recycled excuses, and copy-paste responses. This includes:

- NFOSA Case Number: ***
- FNB Reference Numbers:
– ***3HR (initial ignored complaint)
– ***Q (18 June 2025)
– ***Q (19 June 2025)
– ***Q (20 June 2025 – referred to “***** Department”)
– ***Q (21 June 2025 – same recycled promise, no result)

To this day, no resolution, no compensation, no transparency — only emotional damage, financial distress, and total disrespect.

⚠️ I am therefore escalating this matter:
- Publicly via social platforms
- Legally via formal complaints
- To journalists, regulators, and legal rights bodies

This statement is part of a broader public effort to hold FNB and NFOSA accountable. All emails, letters, and proof of submissions have been retained and are ready to be presented publicly.
