why wait 40 days for money that I have reversed myself and I really need it...WHY?

Firstly I would like to thank the Guys working at FNB Promenade branch their service is amazing,Thank you....But What I am not happy with its these challenging times when you cancel a debit order and stop it ,whenn reversing you have to wait for 40 days its my money and I am in desperate need of that money,times are hard and its still my money,Unfortunately I dint take the name of the lady that was assisting me but she was friendly and its FNB rules ,I really need the money when i look at my app it says upcoming payments ,can you please help me get my money as soon as possible so that I can breathe ,Please...depression is real and if we are drastic measures cancelling things we really need i wish they know its because we have to I am getting sick with depression and if I can get that money it could really ease my Burden.
