Why switch to FNB when you get bad service from FNB
Imagine my suprise when I am trying to make a payment with my credit card and the return message is that the card is in-active. Ok....so the next step would be to call FNB to find out what is happening. Excactly what I did.... just to speak to the first assistant to be told it is because the payment never went through R143.00 to be exact, fine so I go into my account to see why the payment never went off my cheque account which is also an FNB account and there it is on the 28th the payment came off my account. Naturally because it is FNB to FNB there should not be any issues but NOOOO!! it doesnt work that way for FNB. So I decide to call FNB premier banking to get assistance and they give me the same story about the payment and I need to speak to the collections department as the payment wasnt received so they put me through and I spoke to a Lady by the name of Mpho and after speaking to her and telling her the problem, says I need to speak to customer services and she puts me through and I speak to Precious in customer service, Precious cant help and puts me back to the collections department and by this time as any person would , I am getting irritated as the last few people I have spoken to have transfered me, sooo I get to the next lovely person(being sarcastic) called Charity and just by her tone I could pick up that I was going to get attitude, so I explain the story the 5th time and again the payment story comes up, so I decide you know what let me speak to the Manager and if the lady Cynthia is the Manager or Supervisor who got told my story tells me that its because off FNB's system instability that delays the payments and will take up to three days to reflect and up until then my account will be made inactive. So FNB thank you for the outstanding service which was rendered to me today and I am sure you will find some way to make this my fault in the end.
