Why is it so difficult to get a consolidating loan

I would really like to know how difficult it is to understand that a consolidating loan would be able to help me actually make a bit of a better living in a month. And why you wouldn't help your clients out. I have been a loyal customer for years and now when I need a bit of help after getting into trouble I just get shot down the whole time. It really saddens me that loyal customers get treated this way.
