Why is FNB wanting to force everyone to use the mobile banking app???
I think FNB has some sinister plans for us in the future since it seems FNB wants to force its banking app on everyone. FNB has been known for innovative advancement in terms of digital banking that we have all enjoyed. But now it seems that FNB wants to force all clients onto the mobile app even when the web browser based platform is just fine in my opinion. I've received so many SMSes to install the app, so many promotions to install the app even penalities to the inContact service to get my wife to install the mobile app. Yes mobile apps are all the rage these days but why is a major bank trying its level best to force us to install an app. It use to be that a bank was happy to get your business/money however it could but why this shift to force us to bank via an app. Would clients who did not want to use the app be regarded as second rate clients? Why must I do my banking on an app? What is FNB trying to do by forcing us to use the mobile app? What is the gain for FNB in forcing people to use the mobile app? Why can't we have the choice to go with the platform we like/that has been serving us well? What if we don't want to use the app? Is FNB going to refuse services to those who don't have the app in future?
