Why FNB why!!!!!!!!!!!!

In May 2025 I reported a **** that took place on my account and due to many frustrations using the FNB app to attempt and resolve this, I had to then go into a branch.

I followed the steps with the agent to down grade my account which was executed much later, FNB deducted account fees which were really high even though I had reported the case and they were aware. I mean my account was even locked to avoid any further *****.

I have been in communication with several individuals regarding this matter, I was again charged the amount de*****ed on my account and now my account is overdrawn. I can't even move around my savings of which I am in great need!!!

The Private and Core agent I dealt with was to liaise with the ***** department on any further developments regarding my case. I expressed my concerns around this because I do see this heading down the road of FNB not dealing with this adequality and I end up being blacklisted and my credit record tarnished in a situation I tried to deal with as quick as possible.

It is now to a point where I need to make this public and go beyond HelloPeter because my banking institution is now simply holding me accountable and that is not why I bank here.

This is not my first complaint regarding this matter and I have followed instructions given and to date nothing has happened and we are now beyond 2 months. This not the help I was expecting from such an established bank.

nearly 75% of the complaints on your HelloPeter are rated as single star, this gives me little hope that this can be resolved quickly. The financial economy is already bad and banks such as yourself should help loyal clients!

I have received both SMS and App notification now that my complaint has been received. I want to reiterate what I had discussed with the consultant that called me 24 July 2025, why must a HelloPeter/complaint be loaded before customers are taken seriously.
