Who the hell do you contact if you need something? PRIVATE WEALTH CUSTOMER!
First off, I am a Private Wealth customer!
Yesterday I went to my branch to do a R100K cash withdrawel and was told that for those "big" amounts I need to give notice a day in advance. Seriously? That's not even R10K Euros. How can the branch not have that amount of cash? So now I am being inconvenienced by having to go to the bank AGAIN! This morning at 8:15 am I go to the bank, still closed. They only open at 9 o'clock. So how is someone who works supposed to go to the bank? Luckily I can come and go when I want, but still! So then I try to call the bank to ask them if my money is there yet, since I don't want to go to the bank for a third time and leave with empty hands. There is no contact number for the branch, so I need to call the call center. There the audio asks for an ID number, but I do not have an ID number. Eventually after pressing all the buttons I get to speak to a real person. He just tells me the branches don't take any calls and asks me to hold the line. True as bob, he puts me back into the queue with the automatic audio and it starts from the beginning asking for my ID. After pressing many buttoms again I get to someone who opens new accounts, she of course cannot help me either, so back I go to the automatic audio. Eventually I tried my luck with another number she gave me for customer support and guess what, THE SAME AUDIO AGAIN! This has been the most annoying and frustrating process I have ever had to experience. Now I will have to go to the bank physically again.
