Who has taken our money?

We started with the switching process of our home loan from Standardbank to FNB towards the end of last year. We gave Standardbank their regulated 3 months notice - in writing.

We then went to the attorneys to sign the standard paperwork.

We however app**** for, and was granted an additional amount as part of the bond to make improvements to our home.

This is clearly visible on the emails and official communication from FNB.

However, this money has now "disappeared" and no attorney or consultant can tell us where it is. We have spoken to and emailed 9 different people - and just receive a run-around. No one is able, or willing to assist us.

In a country where *******ion is rife - for either bank to not be able to give us answers is not acceptable.

We have received zero communication from Standardbank, and just an email from FNB informing us that when our bond instalment is due.

Where is the money?
