What's a private banker for

I don't quiet get the R555 per month I pay for a private banker? I needed assistance on home loan quote to fix my interest rate, no answer, i needed assistance with bank disputes, no answer, i needed assistance with managing my debt levels due to hiking interest rates etc. and wow would you believe they cant help me there either- time to move? i think so , R6660 a year in bank fee's for a private wealth banker, for what exactly?
