What has happened to pride in your work
I recently had a frustrating experience with an FNB consultant. After requesting confirmation that there would be someone on the receiving end when she transferred my call, the line was unceremoniously dropped. It's disheartening to witness the decline in service standards, raising concerns about what would happen in a genuine emergency. This might be a small issue for some, but for others, it could be a matter of great importance. Let's hope such concerns aren't overlooked in the broader scheme of things.

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the verification process at FNB, which I recently experienced during a call in response to a complaint I lodged yesterday. This incident has left me deeply concerned about the safety of my personal information and the efficacy of FNB's customer protection measures.
During the call, I was required to provide my complete details for verification. However, upon supplying the first six and the last two digits of my ID number, the representative informed me that, as per FNB regulations, she was unable to proceed, deeming my verification unsuccessful. This has left me bewildered and frustrated, as I have always comp**** with the requested information during previous interactions.
What troubles me most is the apparent lack of transparency and security in this process. FNB emphasizes the importance of customer protection, yet there seems to be no foolproof way for me to ensure that the person on the other end of the line is genuinely representing FNB. To exacerbate matters, the representative called me from what she claimed to be her home, raising serious questions about the legitimacy and security of such interactions.
In an era where identity theft and ***** are rampant, I expected FNB to implement a more robust verification process that instills confidence in its customers. The current system not only fails to provide adequate security but also leaves customers vulnerable to potential breaches.
I urge FNB to reevaluate and strengthen its verification protocols to ensure the safety and peace of mind of its customers. It is imperative that your organization takes immediate action to address these concerns and implements measures that align with industry standards for customer protection.
