What happened to a once efficient Fnb Bank?

A total nightmare experience of inefficiency. I had to open a business and a trust account with Fnb which after numerous phone calls and not being able to get through to the Bank. I managed to find someone who picked up the phone and we opened the accounts. When the documents arrived the spelling of my business name was wrong as well as my email address. This all happened on the 27th of August. I have been trying since to get them to correct the spelling of my business name. They only had to take out one letter, but I can see now they are not going to do it. I have been phoning, emailing and I have reference numbers as long as the alphabet. I need advice. Do I close the accounts and reopen them correctly or do I go to another Bank? I feel desperate. I will not be allowed to trade without a Trust Account. They keep on emailing me rating emails in which I rate their service 1( being the worst) and when they ask if I will recommend them to anybody, I say never, but it makes zero difference.

I had a response from Fnb for what it is worth. Another day has gone by with a phone call this morning and empty promises that the matter will be taken up and i will get feedback later today. I am asking for one letter to be taken out of my business name, because Fnb misspelled it. If I could see some human face in a branch, they would maybe help me. And then I need a specific letter which should be worded according to the Estate Agency Affairs Board 's requirements. They will not accept it any other way. I even gave Fnb all the words that need to be in the letter. Is Fnb maybe not a business Bank? Am I at the wrong Bank?

It is with absolute delight and thanks to Fnb and Hello Peter that I can say I am overjoyed and I will sleep well for the first time in weeks. My complaint was resolved, the business name is correct and I got the much needed correct letter. Thanks to all for your assistance. I am very happy and very grateful

No I was wrong. The nightmare is continuing. The branch would not stamp the letter I received as it had not been opened under them and they did not issue the letter in their branch. They said the letter needs to be stamped and emailed to me by the person who issued it. This is unbelievable. Just when I see a light at the end of the tunnel it goes pitch dark again.
