What a wow

I should have researched FNB before switching. DON'T come here, it is hell.

I transferred money from my Aspire account to my Easy Zero account. Fair enough the transaction went through and my money was safe. On trying to access this money I was told by my app that I couldn't, so I went to the branch for assistance. Fortunately, all that had to be done was to verify myself and that should be the end of it. It's a few days later and the matter is now a 'generic hold' on my Easy zero account. None of the consultants at the branch know what to do or what is going on. The EasyZero phone number you call for assistance goes unanswered. Let's forget about the need for an ID and smartphone that you have to bring to get assistance. Or the proof of address you have to bring in hardcopy just for them to give it back to you, which century are they operating in. After verification I had to wait 48 hours! Again, after days of drinking tea from the morning till the afternoon with FNB consultants, I have nothing to show for it. Spend half your day, dodging your work to attend a matter that shouldn't have transpired to begin with. Today, after having coffee and taking a part time job at that branch, I was told I need to wait another uncertain 48 hours to get access to MY money. My temporary colleague even insinuated that I must have done something to cause this generic hold... I regret my move to FNB not my sarcasm in this review - especially coming from a bank that closes it's ATMs. I really miss my Bantu bank. This matter would have been solved by now without having to go share baby pictures with branch consultants or going back home to find my dom-pass to prove Iam really the owner of the account.
