WE WILL FREEZE YOUR ACCOUNT AND ALL YOUR FUNDS IF YOU DO NOT ANSWER YOUR PHONE DURING OFFICE HOURS

Two weeks ago I asked fnb what about my credit card that is about to expire. Their answer: The courier company is trying to contact me to deliver the card. 1. Nobody informed me that the card is at the courier company. 2. I cannot answer my cellphone during office hours. 3. The courier company is not allowed to contact me via email or sms. 4. It is mission impossible to try and phone the courier company. I have not got time to listen to two hours to bad music and pay for it. 5. I specified 1.5 weeks ago that the card needs to be send to the branch for collection. It was not done. 6. I complained on Hello Peter. Answer: Sorry for the inconvenience but nothing was done. 7. AND NOW FNB FROZE MY COMPLETE ACCOUNT AND ALL MY FUNDS. I CANNOT EVEN USE INTERNET BANKING DUE TO THEIR INCOMPETENCE.

According to the credit card department no card can be delivered before Friday and it is their right to freeze my account without any notification even if there is nowhere any warnings regarding card expiries and account freezing. I fail to understand why I am not allowed to use internet banking if fnb was not able to deliver my card on time. I tried everything to get hold of the card but it was not a priority for fnb.
