WAS NOT NOTIFIED

Dear Sir

I have noted with distress that on the 16th Of July 2015 my account was deducted by First National Bank without my authorisation or at least a courtesy call to indicate the intention to do so. I was not even afforded an opportunity to be heard. In my discussion with a FNB consultant, I was informed that they had tried contacting me in the previous week. Unfortunately, I was busy with the preparation for my mother's burial and could not attend to all the calls that came through. If they have allowed the arrears to accumulate over time, I am sure they should have been able to try me again the following week.

I will like to bring to your attention the following.

1. On the 2014March my husband and officially Divorced and he took over the mortgage bond. Immediately after the finalisation of the divorce, we both went to an FNB branch to inform the bank of the changes and we had a legal separation document with the indication of how the property had been split.
2. The consultant assisting us advised that since my husband, who had already taken over the house, was in arrears, had to clear the areas and the FNB consultant provided him with forms .
