Warning: Stay Away from FNB Share Investing

I am beyond livid with FNB Share Investing. After weeks of begging them to assist with a simple transfer of my shares from a personal account to my company account, they failed to act. Instead, I discovered without warning, without my instruction, and without my consent, that they went ahead and SOLD my shares behind my back. This is grossly *********, reckless, and borders on outright *******ity. At no point did I issue a sell order. Yet FNB thought it appropriate to dispose of my investment and leave me to deal with the consequences. I have been a loyal FNB client for many years, across multiple divisions, and I do significant business with this bank. This is not how I expect to be treated by an institution that claims to value its clients. Instead of accountability, I’ve been met with silence, delays, and empty promises. If you value control over your own money and investments, avoid FNB Share Investing at all costs. Rather, use Easy Equities or any other platform where you can manage your own trades and know that no one will secretly sell your shares without your permission. FNB has shown me that they cannot be trusted with something as important as your investments. Don’t put yourself in the same position.
