WARNING: DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH FNB CONNECT!!!!!!

So one day i decided to get me a laptop via my bank which i love so much FNB, little did i know that their other division are not as professional as the bank itself. I app**** for the device which came with a sim card with 500MB, so i thought that is little data so i app**** for another sim for 2GB for R95/month thinking okay that would be enough. To my surprise an amount of R1,015 was debited instead of the R309 for the device and R95 for the sim which i app**** for. So i called FNB flippin connect and spoke to a lady who explained that i had exceeded the 500mb and out of bundles and in bundles blah blah whatever FNB jargon. So i asked why wasn't i asked if i would like uncapped "as they call it" NO ANSWER! I asked so did it make sense to FNB connect for me to get 2 sim cards and then be prepared to pay over R1k for flippin data (yes i reversed the d/o because i was not treated fairly, the service provider was not transparent). I was then told by a certain Mohamed that I SHOULD HAVE READ THE TERMS AND ****DITIONS. Oky Mohamed, would i have understood your jargon? I don't think so, yáll know your product i don't, someboy should have explained during the sale what i was getting myself into.

As if that was enough, i request for both sim carrds to be cancelled to which i was told that they can't canccel the 500MB (their money maker) because it's part of the contract and i should not be paying anything for that one so tthey will cancel the 2Gig... in September, October and November they collected for both sim cards and this month they collected the R1,015 AGAIN still not taking responsibility that they should've been clear. To top it all off, their damn laptop's *****s are loose and they will tell me that i should've read the contract that this piece of sh*t will break within 2 months of purchase but i will have to pay for it....

YOU ALL FAILED DISMALLY AT... TREATING CUSTOMERS FAIRLY!

Firms are expected to demonstrate that they deliver the following 6 TCF Outcomes to their customers throughout the product life cycle, from product design and promotion, through advice and servicing, to complaints and claims handling – and throughout the product value chain:

•Customers can be confident they are dealing with firms where TCF is central to the corporate culture

•Products & services marketed and sold in the retail market are designed to meet the needs of identified customer groups and are targeted accordingly

Customers are provided with clear information and kept appropriately informed before, during and after point of sale

•Where advice is given, it is suitable and takes account of customer circumstances
•Products perform as firms have led customers to expect, and service is of an acceptable standard and as they have been led to expect
•Customers do not face unreasonable post-sale barriers imposed by firms to change product, switch providers, submit a claim or make a complaint.
