WAITING FOR NEW CREDIT CARD - 4 MONTHS AND COUNTING...

In Se*** my credit card was lost/******. I phoned FNB Credit Card division to report this and have the card cancelled. While on the phone I asked them to please re-issue me with a new one. I was told by the call centre agent that I had to go into an FNB branch to have this done. Went to FNB Century City, sat in a que for 1 hour just to have the consultant tell me that I have to phone the credit card division to have a new card issued!? She was very kind and offered to do it for me. She phoned them, I veriefied my security details and they said a new card will be issued in 5 - 7 working days. I requested that the card be sent to Century City where I will be collecting it. 2 WEEKS later I had still not hear anything, followed up again and eventually in Nov16 they told me that the courier has been unable to get hold of me to have the card delivered to me. Once again I had to tell them that they needed to send it to FNB Century City. More time went by with me having to follow up every time. Eventually I received an SMS confirming that the card had been delivered to my branch. Go back to the branch, sit in another que to then be told that the card was not there. The consultant phoned the credit card division again and were told that the card is at CENTURION!? This was on the 12 / 13th December, I needed the card by the 15th December. as I had been without a card for so long and was about to go out of town. They said there was an option to have it sent via emergency courier but that someone would phone me back. Of course no one did, the next day I phoned the credit card division again and was told the same story. Now it is the 12 JANUARY 2017 and I am still waiting for someone to phone me back and still waiting for my new credit card - 4 MONTHS LATER. Well done FNB - please only contact me to confirm that you have closed my account, I will be going to another bank.
