Waiting for more than an hour just to collect ATM card.
I came to FNB woodmead branch to collect my new ATM card. There were 6 clients ahead of me. It's been an hour now and I still haven't been served. This is ridiculous. I am thinking of leaving because one hour later only 3 clients have been served. I might be here the whole day, just to collect my ATM card. I don't know why they just don't have a counter for clients who just want to collect their ATM cards.

19 Jul 2024, 19:38Woodmead Branch Operations Manager contacted me directly and advised me that the whole banking system was affected by the worldwide Microsoft outage that happened on the day. This is what caused the delay and long wait. Unfortunately, the bank did not advise customers visiting the branch about this situation. Otherwise, I now believe the bank was not at fault, besides not notifying clients about the outage affecting their system. This issue has been resolved amicably.
