Waiting 3 weeks for a replacement card

I left my card in an ATM in early March, so it was automatically cancelled.
I can't walk into an FNB branch and get a new card, like I can at banks where I pay less than half the monthly bank charges, so I decided to order a new one online.

That was on the 30th of March.
Since then, I have been to the branch I asked the card to be delivered to (blue route) two separate times, I have called in 5 times and been told that the situation is being \elevated\" and that \"notes\" have been put in the system.
It is now the 20th of April and I still have no card. This after hours on the phone and having to stand in line at a branch twice. All the bills linked to my card remain unpaid and I have been inconvenienced on a daily basis.

To top off this unbelievable situation, after waiting this long, I am told that the card will be ordered for me today, the 20th of April, and that it will take 5 to 7 working days to be delivered. A timeframe I was promised when I first ordered the card over 3 weeks ago.

At this point it would be quicker and simpler for me to close my account and move to another bank, than to get something as basic as a replacement card from FNB.
