virtual card

I have been trying to get someone to assist me with the glitch on my virtual card and i am being sent from pillar to post. when i pay with my virtual card the receipt comes up with a different card number. this has had me refused refunds. i spoke to a Mmaselo she has since escalated the call but no one got back to me. i contacted them again and i spoke to a Mclean who said thats how virtual cards work. so does that mean i have to live with the fact that i will never get refunded or be subjected to buying items i dont need(since i wont be rufunded) because of the nature of virtual cards?
