Vindictive/Arrogant handling of property sale

FNB's Bad attitude towards distressed sale of property

1, I made an offer to a distressed seller to buy his apartment; 06 /09/2017 2 The offer had to be accepted by the bank (FNB) because the property was scheduled to be auctioned - Auction date 21/09/17 3. FNB indicated that the offer was not accepted because the amount was too low. 4. An increased offer was sent through to FNB for approval. 3, The transferring attorney I have selected to handle the transfer was contacted and notified that the offer was accepted. (At this state FNB knew exactly how much the shortfall would be) 4, The sale in execution was cancelled 5, The offer to purchase was clear that the purchase price included the transfer costs. 6, FNB woke up and found out that the transfer cost was included in the purchase price, FNB refused to proceed with the transfer, 7, FNB asked me to pay the transfer cost as an additional amount in order to effect transfer . I agreed to pay so that the transfer could go through and that matter is with the Ombudman for banking for a resolution. 8. On the 8th of November 2017 I am told that the shortfall amount was not accepted and the sale cannot be registered.

I have already incurred costs

The shortfall amount was known by FNB when they accepted the second offer. I think that the home loans department is being vindictive because they were caught sleeping and did not pick up that the purchase price included the transfer costs

I think that I am being pushed around because large organisations can
