Victim of ATM Crime

On Friday, 29 of April 2016, 06:25 I went to withdraw money from a FNB ATM at Greenhills, Randfontein. I tried to insert my card into the FNB ATM but the machine wouldn't accept my card. There was a blockage in the FNB ATM. Next to the FNB ATM is a Capitec ATM. I insert my card into the Capitec ATM. The ATM accepted my card and I insert my pin. The screen of the Capitec ATM showed that my pin number was entered incorrectly. I pressed the cancel button but the ATM didn't release my card. A few minutes later (2-3 minutes) I received a sms of FNB showing that a amount of R3000 withdrawn and a minute later another R2000 was withdrawn. According the sms shows that the money was withdrawn at an ATM in Randgate (Total). I reported it at the FNB branch in Randfontein with a Affidavit from the SAPS explaining what happend. FNB told me they will investigate but they can't give me assurance that I will get my money back. I just want to know if there is any possibility from your point of view to get my money back? I just want to know if FNB has insurance to reimbursed the victims of these crimes. This is not the first time for this sort of crime to happen. This typed of crime was published several times in the media. I am a student and is responsible for my own study fees. Therefor I am in need for the reimbursed of the money to be able to continue my studies.
