very Very Bad Customer Service

1- I had a credit card worth R5000 with FNB in 2006.

2- 2009 i had a call asking me to renew my credit card and i was proposed R50000 of which i refused and we agree on my renewing my credit card for an amount of R5000.

3- i collected my credit card , travelled overseas and use the credit card, coming back and after having my statement i realised that they have given me a credit card of R50000 that i initially refused.

4-i went back to the branch complaining and they refuse to take the card back or to reduce the amount to R5000 that i should use the credit card with care in such a way that i could not overspend more tha R5000., of which i could not.

5-with the nature of my work travelling a lot in Africa, they were months i could not pay my credit card to travelling and upon arrival in South Africa i will make payment as i was always reminded by FNB credit controller to pay or make arrangements of which i always did over roaming.

6-The problem arised when i travelled in Nigeria and FNB went in my account tking money without my concent and that did not go ddown well with me and asked them they acknowledged taking money in my account without my concent , worse they told me they were within their right to collect money from my account without even letting me know, unhappy with it i ask them to cancel the credit card.

7- After discussion with my financial advisor, i was told to tell them reconsider reinstating my credit card of which i was told never.

7- i agree to py R1350 per month for a credit of R50000 from 2013 i dont remember the exact month of that year.

8- 2016 i asked how much i have paid so far with the bank and no one is willing to tell me exactly how much i owe but they do tell me that i still owe them R44000 after 04 years on a debt of R50000 after paying R1350X 40 months approximately.

9- i have agreed with the bank to deduct my account on the 28 of each month, and i make sure that on that date there is money in my account but they the bank will not deduct their money and deduct some times way pass the date and the issue is i am not in the country more often and for that i may spend money overseas after the 28th knowing that the FNB has deducted theier money in my account, just to find that they did not and will collect penalty on non payment.

10-based on that i have opened another account with ABSA where my salary come through and i made a stop order to be sending R9000 into my FNB account immediately my salary come in on the 25, but i still fail to understant why collecting money from my account such as this morning without my concent and without any pre agreement and telling me that i had i concent with them.i challenge them that because all their calls are recorded, there is no where i give them that right to take R362.87 in my account today.

conclusion

FNB is not there to help customers with the right informations all they care about is to make money illigally based on misinforming customers.

when you challenge them they say it is how their system is configure of which i found very disturbing for the most innovative bank in the world.

when i open a new account with ABSA i have cancelled all my debit with fnb and pay cancellation fee, i was terrified when i paid R1380 for unpaid debit orders that i have cancelled in time, when queried about it i was told that is how their system work. i can go on and on with a lot of cases like that.

if i dont have how much i have paid so far on my credit card, i will stop payment, because i feel i pay every month for the service of which they fnb is not prepare to render to me as customer.
