Very upset

Absolutely shocking service. Thanks to Covid I am in financial difficulties, a friend sent a gift via Paypal. Of course to access Paypal funds you must either have an FNB bank account or register a profile with FNB. I went to.my closest FNB branch, Robertson, they couldn't help because they weren't linked to the internet. A very nice lady showed me the steps to follow. I tried to register a profile, only to get an error message telling me to contact the call centre. After holding for 5 minutes I spoke to a very nice lady who went through all my information, she then told me that my account had been linked and I could now login and link PayPal to my bank account. Surprise - I couldn't log in. I again contacted the call centre, a consultant who did not appear to be knowledgeable about Paypal again went through my information. I was told that my Paypal account was dormant, and in order to access my funds I would have to open a bank account with FNB. Seriously? How did fnb get s monopoly with PayPal? I am so disappointed.

I went to Robertson FNB and was told that if I want to open an account, I have to have at least R1000 deposited monthly. Again I ask, HOW did FNB get the monopoly on PayPal?

5 stars to FNB Robertson. I visited the branch again today as I need to resolve my problem as soon as possible. I didn't have much hope but I was pleasantly surprised. The manager: Berenice Jaftha found a solution and consultant: Hiliyara handled the process.
Well done ladies! My PayPal account is sorted.
