Very unhappy with FNB
On the 2 of Septer 2020 I went to Walmer Park Branch Fnb to ask for a settlement amount on my covid loan account and I was given an amount of R5 264.70 which I settled on the 4th September 2020 because The letter stated that I must settle this by the 8th of September. I noticed on my account that Fnb still deducts from my account even up until today. I went to another Fnb branch on the 14th of September 2022 to enquire about this and we phoned the Covid department where we were assisted by Nelisiwe Ntuli who promised to convey the matter to her superiors and revert back to me on Monday the 16th of Monday 2022. I went back to the branch on Monday to get a response only to find out that we will not be able to get hold her on the line as she doesn't have a direct line so we spoke to Petunia Mlambo who explained that even though I settled the account FNB kept on paying for my credit card so now I am paying for those payments.now my question is who's problem is it r who is responsible for these payments when I went to the branch and ask for a settlement amount? What is the meaning of a settlement? Because I didn't just get these figures from my head but FNB gave them.to me and I paid..I have the proof of payment and communication between me and FNB...I am really not happy about this, and the worst part it seems as if no one is willing to explain this to me properly...Yesterday the 18 of May 2022 I received a covid loan statement which I do not even understand.. Can someone please fix this before I close all my accounts with FNB.
