Very unhappy and disappointed FNB client

My FNB account was *****ulently accessed and funds transferred out on the 23rd of April after my phone was ****** from me. I was not aware my phone had been taken and thought I had misplaced it until I called the ***** department at FNB to request deactivation of my mobile app, online banking and cards. The person I spoke to then read out some transaction that had occurred that same evening, which I confirmed were not done by me. The lady then continued to say she'd try to stop those transactions, and would update the system with her comments pertaining to my call and the ***** events. My account have remained blocked as I was uncomfortable with the block being lifted while my money, which I deposit into my FNB cheque account for the debit of my policies, was still not returned. As a result the debits for my policies have all bounced, so I'll have to make alternative means to sort those out while FNB takes its time to do anything. Unfortunately the same happened on my my Standard Bank accounts on the same evening. I also contacted the ***** department at Standard Bank (this was after the call to FNB *****), from whom I received the most amazing assistance. They managed not only managed to deactivate my mobile app, online banking and cards but most importantly the *****ulent transactions were reversed and all my money back returned back to my cheque account. Needless to say, I'm left feeling very disappointed that after being a client to FNB for over 20years this is the kind of treatment I get. It's as if my money is valueless and absolutely no one cares how this traumatic event has affected me, at least not enough to try and handle the issue with some form of urgency and care. I have to date only received updates from FNB when I follow up, in contrast while Standard Bank managed to get all my money back, they still keep me up to date via sms on the status of the investigation. Just to clarify FNB advised their turnaround time is 7-30 working days, I find this truly concerning given the nature of the situation at hand. I hate to compare yet again but if Standard Bank is able to keep me informed after assisting in less than 24hrs then surely FNB should be able to do the same??? Anyway, I have opened a ******** case for the incidents which I'm expecting that both banks will investigate and ultimately (ideally) find the person(s) who did this to me.
