Very poor service from FNB

I made an online transaction on the 2nd of June using my credit card. As I received the confirmation SMS that the money has been deducted from my account, I realised that it was a ********** transaction because the reference on the SMS was just garbage.

I immediately called the FNB ***** helpline to report the case and was asked to complete a form and send it back to them . I did that immediately.

After I haven't heard from FNB for about a week, I tried calling my FNB personal banker but there was no answer. I tried calling again, again no answer. I then contacted my RMB personal banker (I am also a RMB client) who then contacted the RMB service desk. The RMB service desk advised that I was asked to complete the incorrect form. I then completed the "correct" form and send it back to the service desk. For weeks my RMB personal banker tried to assist me but no progress was made.

Eventually on the 12th of July I received an email from the FNB disputes department telling me to cancel my card before the ***** department can assist. I cancelled the card and notified them. Again absolutely no response from them.

I contacted FNB again on the 3rd of August to follow up on the case. For 45 minutes I was transferred from one department to the other. Not one department wanted to assist as they believed it was the other departments responsibility. The case is still open and I still don't have any answers.

I guess it is time for me to take my business to another bank. I've never received such poor service from any service provider.
