Very Poor and inhumane service

On Saturday, 25 February my wife went to the FNB Atm to withdraw an amount of R200. On her first attempt to withdraw the money at the atm, the machine told her unsuccessful transaction. A smartly dressen black male with documents in his hand, turned away from the person he was helping at the other atm and told my wife to just put in her card and enter the pin again. My wife did it, and the transaction was successful. She got her R200, her bankslip and card. Then the man told her to put her card in again and draw more money, to which she rep**** NO! She then immediately put her money, card and slip in her handbag, grabbed our 18 month old baby and left. The sunday morning early she phoned me and asked me if i was withdrawing money as i was busy fishing in another town in a competition. I said no, why? then she told me an amount of R1500 was withdrawn from our account in Mdantsane in East-London, then there were two purchases of R3000 each at a PNP in Greenfields, East-London and a while after that another purchase of R475. I told her to immediately go and draw the rest of the money and stop her card. She tried to draw the money, but the machine kept on saying unsuccessful transaction. She then grabbed our baby and went to my mom to phone the bank and stop the card. The representative asked her for the card number, and that is only when they realized that it was not my wife's bankcard. Somehow the cards were switched, but the man that told her to do the transaction for the R200 again, never even touched her card. How this happened we do not know. My wife went to the SAPS afterwards, and opened a ******** case. We did everything we had to. We sent all the required documents to the FNB ***** Departement, and today they told us we are not getting a cent back and they blame my wife for the whole incident. My wife was not the one that stole our hard earned money. We still have debit orders to pay, we have rent and a car to pay, we have a little baby to take care of. Here in Tarkastad we only have one bank and it is the local FNB. You can only draw money, deposit money or a cheque outside, as they dont do it inside the bank, and then the cleaning lady must assist you if you dont know what to do. The bank has absolutely no security guards. The atm's are not safe. So i want my money back. Every month we pay for a service and this is how we are treated. It is unacceptable. The bank is suppose to take precausions to prevent these this happening to their clients.
