Very disappointed with such unprofessionalisn

I have been an FNB client since 2003 and, throughout this period, I have maintained my accounts responsibly and have never idefaulted on any obligations owed to the bank. It is therefore shocking and unacceptable that my revolving loan debit order was disabled without my knowledge or consent, resulting in my account being handed over to an external collections company without any direct communication, warning, or explanation from FNB. I only became aware of this matter after being contacted by an external collections company. Upon making enquiries myself, I was informed that the debit order had been disabled. To date, no clear explanation has been provided as to: Why the debit order was disabled; Who authorised the disabling of the debit order; Why I was not informed immediately; Why proper internal escalation and client engagement procedures were not followed before handing over my account. This situation was entirely caused by FNB’s internal failures and has had serious consequences for me, including: Damage to my credit profile and credit score; Loss of my “good standing” status with FNB; Negative impact on my eBucks rewards and benefits; Emotional distress and reputational harm caused by being contacted by debt collectors despite being willing and able to pay; The inconvenience of having to manually transfer funds to correct a situation created by FNB. As a Wealth Private Client, I find the lack of accountability, communication, and client care deeply disappointing. Even after raising this matter, FNB has still not fully corrected the damage caused. I therefore formally demand the following remedies: Immediate correction and rehabilitation of my credit profile with all relevant credit bureaus, including removal of any adverse listings resulting from this matter; Full reinstatement of my eBucks status, rewards, and “good standing” profile; A detailed written explanation regarding how and why the debit order was disabled; Reversal and refund of any incorrect pricing, penalties, fees, or charges app**** to my accounts as a result of this incident Written confirmation that the handover to collections has been withdrawn and that no further adverse action will be taken against me; A formal written apology from FNB acknowledging the failures in handling my account. Should this matter not be resolved urgently and satisfactorily, I reserve my right to escalate the matter to the National Financial Ombud Scheme South Africa, the National Credit Regulator, and any other relevant regulatory authorities, as well as to reconsider my entire banking relationship with FNB. I expect written acknowledgement of this complaint and a clear resolution within the prescribed complaint resolution timelines
