Very disappointed in FNB.

To be honest, I am very disappointed in the Bank. My current business has been with FNB since 2009 and my previous businesses even before then. We've had multiple vehicle finance deals through the bank, throughout the years, we also have credit facilities through the bank. We've never defaulted on any payments, but the bank during this covid-19 pandemic are treating their customers worse than dirt. I would advise everyone to never under any circumstances do any transaction with FNB, especially if you own a small business. During stage 5 we were literally not able to get hold of anyone at the bank telephonically to help us, and in the small chance that someone did pick up, they told us to use the covid-19 portal on the app. Which is just a way of the bank to waste your time even further. To make things worse, we still haven't defaulted on any payments and wanted apply for the covid-19 loan schemes that are being handled by the banks. When we eventually did get through to a consultant during stage 4 of the lock down, they took our details and promised to get back to us. Instead they put us on a credit reduction plan on our overdraft. For no good reason, as all our installments are up to date and now they are refusing to even do a covid-19 loan application on our behalf as a result of this. Word of mouth has it that they are doing this with most of their small business customers. I am regretting ever banking with FNB as an individual and a small business owner. If this matter isn't resolved I am taking my business elsewhere, I am sure there has got to be a bank that still takes care of their clients and I advise all, personal and business alike to do the same. I am very disappointed by this kind of treatment from a bank which I thought of as a trusted friend for years.
