Very concerned about FNB
This morning at 4am I was awoken by an sms coming through on my phone. Checked it and it was from FNB stating I made a purchase with my check account last night on some website in the UK. I immediately got up and phoned the ***** department as I have never used my check card for purchases online and certainly did not buy sports apparel from some website in the UK! ***** department stops my card and tells me that it was probably cloned. Wonder how this happened? Now I have to wait for longer than a week for a new card (and probably pay for a new one as well) and the ***** case take 4-10 days to sort out. The amount is only reserved on my account and not taken yet, but according to the ***** department they can't stop it from going through, which I honestly don't believe. I'm sure they can reverse that transaction! Even though the amount taken was not huge, it was the funds for 2 more debit orders that need to go off on that account. I do not feel save with my money at FNB (or any bank for that matter) I am worried! Please FNB sort this out! I need this money back in my account! I'm a premier banking client at FNB and this type of stuff should NOT happen! Please HELP!
