Very bad service
About a month ago I decided to switch banks. FNB seemed the obvious choice at the time and I subsequently contacted them through the internet. FNB was quick to respond to my request and promised a smooth transition between banks. I was even approved for a overdraft and credit card with substantial amounts. I was happy to receive such good service.
Then the reality set in. I had to mail salary slips, 3 month bank statements which then turned into 4 months statements and proof of adress to FNB. I did that twice. I even had to take the same documents to the branch a few times. Then I had to apply for the credit card again after even signing acceptance for the approved application. Then it was all together declined.
With regards to the overdraft; Only after enquiring, I was told that it will be available upon my first salary deposit. \All is in order sir\" Yeah right! Now I have to re-apply for the overdraft. I am also not sure if my debit orders will go off, as I simply cannot trust FNB. I have not received any notifications of my debit orders being deducted. 10/10 FNB for good marketing and pathetic service.
"
