Utterly useless FNB card division treating an 86 year old with visual disability customer as badly as could be possible

My dad who is 86 years old and has been a loyal (although this seems crazy) customer for more than 50 years recently cancelled his card after it was misplaced in November 2016 at FNB branch in Cradlestone shopping centre on the West Rand. He also duly requested a new card to be delivered to the FNB branch for collection. After the 5th attempt at collecting a card and after more than 6 weeks had passed he finally got a card in his hand but when he input the code on the system he was informed that this new card had been cancelled and he was back to square one. I then went into the branch with him and spoke to an agent at the call centre who assured me that the card would be delivered to the branch. I expressly told the agent that my dad is unable to read the messaged that they send him on his phone so they need to contact me and so the saga continues . . . no card, FNB not giving a damn how they treat customers and the worst service on earth is what their brand stands for. I have been pushed from pillar to post in the most inefficient call centre in the world and now have no choice but to escalate the matter via shareholder services. What and utterly useless company! How they could have been nominated as one of the most innovatinve banks in the world is beyond me. I have had better service in a s****yard in a foreign country than we get from FNB and a suggest that anyone who reads this uses an alternative ban****!
