Utter disapointment

Both my wife and I are Premier platinum account holders of Fnb and have been banking with them for over 30 years. About two months ago, we app**** for a home loan with Fnb Islamic finance. It took a week of calls to get someone to respond & endless calls and emails from us for two months for us to get a letter of approval. However, the profit rate Fnb was willing to give us is 10.5% while their website displays a rate of 9.25%. Albaraka whom we do not Bank with had given us a rate of 9.25%. Fnb Islamic did not once in the two months that they made us wait, inform us that the rate could be this high. They also want us to insure our house for R2.474 million rands while the municipal and market values are almost a million rands less. We are totally disgusted by Fnb Islamic home loans consultants, attitudes, delays and lack of customer care and advise all those seeking Islamic home loans to avoid them at all \costs"."""
