Useless service on FNB to FNB payment

Why is there is there a delay on FNB to FNB via Geopay? What needs to be authenticated? POP are useless as we as they can cancel it still if they want to. What confirmation do I have that the money will come through? I call they hotline and the advise was do me to tell my client that they need to call FNB and get them to do what they are suppose to do, which is make the payment go through? And what’s with this “it’s Saturday so there will be a delay”? It’s automated! And the internet does not rest on a weekend!!
