Useless

I’ve had a bad experience with Ebucks travel. I cancelled a flight on 4 November and was told that my refund would be processed within 8 weeks. 12 weeks later I still hadn’t received the refund. I had to call numerous times, every call Centre representative had told me they were waiting for the airline to provide the refund.

I called about 10 times to no avail. Eventually I escalated it to management and threaten to send a letter of demand ( the T’s & C’s specifically state that the time period is 8 weeks)

After getting hold of Managment it was sorted out. However my question is, should I really have to be threatening legal action for Ebucks travel to get their house in order. I wouldn’t think so . Really disappointed. Thinking of moving banks

After seeing your response I went to check on my app and even though I cancelled the flight in 2019 and did not fly, ebucks said that I have used my flight allowance for the year.

I don’t understand it seems as if FNB is trying to con us out the benefits that we’ve been promised.

The only reason I am even with this pathetic bank is because of the travel benefits and Ebucks. But it seems as if they are trying to ***** us out of every benefit even though we as customers do everything right. I was told in a recorded phone call that my flight benefit would be refunded and here we are 3 months later with ZERO benefits.

Does anyone know of banks with better travel benefits?? On the lookout

This complaint is not about Ebucks travel, but instead for Ebucks rewards.

I have called and logged a complaint earlier this week. I have also requested a call me back service. I have still not heard back.

My Ebucks rewards level was dropped from level 4 to level 3 this month. It didn’t make sense as I had been spending on my credit card and should’ve been on a higher reward level.

I went on to the reward calculator and realized that Ebucks had not been giving me points for any of my online shopping nor my credit card spend. I was also not getting any rewards from Ebucks partners such as takealot , Superbalist or Uber.

Despite logging this I have not heard back. The problem is FNB is now going to take time “investigating” this matter which precludes me from earning Ebucks or having the benefits for the period of investigation.

If the investigation concludes what I assume it will- that I should’ve been on a higher level, should I just be okay with not getting any benefits during this period because there’s a problem on their side ?

It’s actually shocking that a private bank who has been calling me and begging me to move to their private wealth can’t even get their rewards right?

Hoping for a response from them.

FNB attempted fo rectify by restoring my Ebucks level, however they have still not refunded my flight benefit for this year. I have given it 7 working days and it still says that I have used one international flight this year despite not flying at all and canceling. Honestly getting sick of chasing after this bank and looking at closing my account
